The Village Marketplace offers you a place to showcase and sell your goods and products. The Village uses Stripe to process all payments. Customers never have to leave the site to complete a transaction.

 

Pricing Overview
The Village Marketplace charges a flat $20.00 base monthly fee and 3.5% of the pre-tax cost of the items sold. Our vendors will never have any hidden fees.

 

Other fees
There are no additional fees.

 

Payment Servicing
Stripe is the servicer for all payments. Vendors are required to maintain a Stripe account to receive payments for items sold. Registration for Stripe accounts are free and an account can be created during the Onboarding process. Vendors with existing accounts may utilize them for payments. Seller Responsibilities
The Vendor is responsible for shipping and ensuring that all products arrive to the customer in proper working condition and as advertised. The Vendor is responsible for setting the shipping date based on the availability of the product.

 

Shipping
The Vendor is responsible for shipping the purchased item(s). The shipping costs and any return costs are the responsibility of the vendor. If the vendor is not responsible for the costs, the shipping costs must be expressly stated to the customer and properly charged to the customer.

 

Refunds/Returns
The vendor is responsible for any refunds owed to the purchaser of the goods. Any returns are the responsibility of the vendor.

 

Disputes/Issues
Disputes will be the responsibility of the vendor. Any issue that are reported to The Village Marketplace will be forwarded to the vendor. If The Village Marketplace deems vendor a detriment to the Marketplace and the success of the Marketplace the vendor will be reprimanded and could face possible removal from the Marketplace.
